Summer Program for High School Students

Are you a high school student? Then consider spending your summertime at Phenikaa University, where you can explore a variety of pre-college Science and Technology courses while living and learning alongside a diverse set of peers.

Phenikaa SciTech Summer Camp 2020 (August 03 to August 08, 2020)

A 5-day Summer Experience for High School Students offers:

  • Full scholarship worth 10 million VND if admitted (No cost) 
  • Boarding life at Phenikaa University 
  • SciTech seminar
  • Challenging SciTech courses
  • Meals at Phenikaa Cafeteria 
  • Fun sport & Social activities
  • Team building events  

At the end of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion. This is a great way to supplement your college application to Phenikaa University and many other Institutions.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Huong

Dr. Viet Huong Nguyen completed his M.S degree in Nanoscale Engineering at INSA de Lyon in 2015 and obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science at University Grenoble Alpes in 2018. Since August 2019, he's served as a researcher in the ALD Research Group, PHENIKAA University. His main research focuses on using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology for renewable energy and environment-related applications.

Dr. Do Quoc Tuan

Dr. Tuan obtained his B.Sc. degree in Physics at the VNU Hanoi (2007) and further pursued a Ph.D. degree in Physics at NCTU Taiwan (2015); Dr.Tuan's field of study focuses on Gravitational Physics and Cosmology.

Dr. Nguyen Van Duy

Dr. Duy received his Ph.D. in Physics at Grenoble Alps University (2018). His research Interest includes Quantum Computing, 2D Materials, Superconducting Circuits, Machine Learning, and Physics Education.

Dr. Nguyen Dang Khoa

Dr. Nguyen Dang Khoa is a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, PHENIKAA University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering program at the University of Ulsan in 2018. His research focuses on automation control, embedded system, and signal processing.

Dr. Cao Hoang Nam

Dr. Cao Hoang Nam received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics from Yonsei University in South Korea. He is now a lecturer at the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences, PHENIKAA University. His research interests are black holes, the structure of spacetime at short distances, and physics beyond the Standard Model.

Dr. Luong Van Su

He's interested in the development of high-performance magnetometers, including three-dimensional magnetoresistance sensors, fluxgate, integrated current sensors, e-compass, eddy current sensors, spintronic devices.

Dr. Pham Tien Lam

Dr. Lam completed his Ph.D. in computational materials science (2011) at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. His research interest encompasses finding new combinations of atoms as novel materials by machine learning, data mining approach, and developing techniques for machine vision.

M.Sc. Khong Minh

Minh received his B.Sc in Mechatronics at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2009) and M.Sc in Mechatronics: Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2015). His field of study includes Navigation for mobile robots, AGV, robotics. He currently leads robotics teams and projects at PHENIKAA University.

Dr. Vu Thi Lien

Dr. Lien received her Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2018. Her research interest focuses on Contact lens design, Freeform surfaces, Reverse engineering, and Injection molding

M.Sc. Tran Quynh Nhu

Nhu received her B.Sc.degree in Pedagogy in Chemistry at Quy Nhon University (2015) and a M.Sc degree in Engineering Physics at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2020). She is Interested in nanoscience, nanocomposite thin film, and education sciences.

  • high school students or will graduate from secondary school and enter high school in 2020 
  • 15 - 18 years old
